Mai Khao Beach is in the northwest of the island of Phuket. It is Phuket’s longest beach. The area around Mai Khao Beach is still very quiet and natural. Mai Khao Beach is a protected sea turtle nesting area between November and February the beach is a nesting area of a sea turtle. You can also see a mole crab (sand crab) live under the surface of the sand. An airplane landing at Phuket International Airport is a popular tourist attraction as well and it is not far from the holiday home.
